About Prince of Tennis
Prince of Tennis, created by Takeshi Konomi, tells the story of Seigaku's middle school tennis team's road to being the best in the nation.
Though the premise is like every other sport series out there, Prince of Tennis never ceases to entertain. The unique characters and over the top tennis special moves
makes this series a lot of fun to read. The characters really shine in this series because they are given so much time in the spotlight; after all tennis is played mono on mono or
in doubles.

The above introduction of Prince of Tennis really pushed the fact that you can read it just about anywhere since the story is broken up into individual matches.
However, one thing that Prince of Tennis has going for it is that it's really addictive. You read one match and you immediately want to read the next to find out the results. This is a great reason to
purchase the actual manga.
Prince of Tennis has been licensed by Viz Media
and
would be a great addition to everyone's manga collection. Sure it's a sport series, but sports series has some of the best replay (or in this case, re-read) values. I've read
Prince of Tennis, Eyeshield 21, Hajime no Ippo, and Slam Dunk over and over because they were so good! I rank
Prince of Tennis right up there with those sport series aforementioned, which is really saying a lot about how good it is.
Of course if you're not a big tennis fan you might wonder why would I spent lots of money on this series. You really don't need to be a tennis fan to enjoy this series; however you
just might find yourself on the court trying to do twist-serves after reading it!

Information & Rotation
The manga scans you will find on this site are ones created by fans. They are not scanned versions of the licensed English versions. On the topic of licensed manga series, I do host licensed series unlike many sites that take down manga scans when they get licensed.
I feel that showcasing the series actually helps in sales. I usually do not host entire series (usually just the beginning or latter volumes) so people tend to purchase the actual graphic novels when they find out how good they are.
As for the fansubbed manga scans, they are created by manga scanlation groups. You can get a full list of groups over at Manga Jouhou. These groups create these fansubs for the fans - I simply distribute
them online. Within each series you will certainly see information pertaining to the groups that created the manga scans. Please support the groups by visiting their web site or mIRC channel.
At Spectrum Nexus we try to offer viewers a wide variety of manga series.
For that reason I have implemented a
manga rotation. Certain long series, such as Hajime no Ippo
(well over 80 volumes long), are under this manga rotation scheme because I can't host
all of the volumes at once. The rotation
consists of showing a set amount of volumes, then every Monday or Thursday they will
rotate out and in will come a new batch. I have found this helps on the
servers and allows me to keep this site up without ever asking for donations.
